Quinta de Vilar e Almarde is located in Vilar de Nojões, parish of Real, 2.5 km from the historic center of Castelo de Paiva . It was in this location that more than 500 years ago the charter for Terras de Paiva was granted.

The Farm

It is bathed by the Sardoura River, close to the Douro River and 15 minutes from Passadiços do Paiva , it is ideal for weekends or holidays with family or friends and provides visitors with direct contact with nature, at the same time as you will be able to enjoy all the comfort and well-being in a relaxed environment.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy private parking within the farm, good garden spaces, a great swimming pool and a large lawn space.

Geographically located between the region's biggest tourist attractions – the Magic Mountains, the UNESCO Arouca Geopark Territory, the Douro River and the Route of the Romanesque – Quinta Vilar e Almarde is part of a recent agricultural property, where viticulture, kiwi growing and accommodation are the main activities.

Our visitors and guests can enjoy all the tourist offerings that the region has to offer, from gastronomy and wines, to historical heritage, nature tourism, adventure sports, rafting and cannyoning, without forgetting the multiple hiking trails, mountain biking, among other attractions and activities.
The two houses, typical of schist villages, have been preserved in their originality and consist of 9 bedrooms in total (2 twins and 7 doubles). They also have a bar, breakfast and light meal room, a porch, space for meetings, gatherings and other activities. All compartments have television and internet, heating and air conditioning.
